Reconditioned OEM
Covers
When you order an OEM
Reconditioned Bumper Cover from Micro Platers Sales, we start by selecting
a core from an inventory in excess of 5,000. When
available, we recondition the most popular cores and put them into
our inventory for rapid delivery. However, our standard operating
procedure is to recondition bumper cores on demand, after a customer places
the order with our call center. |
|
| When
you places an order
with our call center, the first step is to
select a core from
one of our storage yards. Our repair technicians use standard repair
procedures and quality materials to restore each bumper cover. Every core is different. Some
bumper cores may need to be strip sanded, sandblasted or submerged in a hot water bath
before we can start the repair process. |

Once
we start the repair process, it takes approximately five hours just to do
the structural repair. Then every fascia is primed with a
water borne primer. Some fascias require several coats of
primer with appropriate drying time between coats. After our
technicians completes the structural repair and the bumper
cover is in primer, the bumper cover is inspected, packaged in a plastic bag and
scheduled for delivery. See Below: The Repair Cycle
